Common Character Builds (NM and HM)

Just in case you dont know what "build" is. Build means how you spend the stat points. You get +5 stat points per level in Normal Mode and +7 on Hard Mode. These are few common builds, this means that you can make pretty good character if you pick one of these builds and always spend the points you get in that manner.

I build my mage with +5 INT build. This means I always give all 5 of stat points to INT.



Normal Mode

* 3 STR, 2 DEX
* 3 STR, 1 REC, 1 DEX
* 4 STR, 1 DEX

Hard Mode

* 4 STR, 1 REC, 2 DEX
* 5 STR, 2 DEX



Normal Mode

* 5 REC
* 1 STR, 3 REC, 1 WIS
* 3 REC, 2 STR with base DEX of 15

Hard Mode

* 7 REC
* 5 REC, 2 WIS
* 5 REC, 2 STR with 20 DEX (Battle Tank)
* 5 STR, 2 REC with 50 DEX (Skirmish Tank)



Normal Mode

* 3 STR, 2 DEX
* 1 DEX, 4 LUC
* 5 LUC

Hard Mode

* 7 LUC
* 6 STR, 1 DEX (1-15 PVP build)
* 6 STR, 1 REC (1-15 PVP build alt)


Normal Mode

* 2 DEX, 3 LUC
* 1 STR, 2 DEX, 2 LUC
* 2 STR, 3 DEX
* 3 STR, 2 DEX
* 5 STR

Hard Mode

* 5 STR, 2 DEX
* 4 STR, 3 DEX

* 5 REC, 2 WIS(PvP - Res tank)

* 4 REC, 1 INT (solo AOE/PvP)

* 5 INT, 2 WIS
* 4 REC, 3 INT (solo AOE/PvP)
* 5 REC, 2 WIS (Tank, set damage attacks, i.e Fire Thorn)

Can I get an idea of your builds along with how many crites.....this would be a nice way to share....my HM ranger 1 to 15 is based on hi dex and rec....he crits 127...Ill write all my toons and share it with you...thanks....instincts831

I don't have a ranger but I do have an archer and in building him I found out from somebody in the shaiya forums (can't remember who now) that the critical mutlipler is based directly off of STR. So if you don't have alot of STR you don't critical very much until your luck is way up, like around 300. I did find this to be true with my archer which is a STR DEX build up to lvl 15 and then all luck and it was not till my luck hit somewhere around 80 that my criticals started really becomming good. My STR is 45 + what ever you start with. I now crit in the 300s at lvl 27.
